Beautiful campground that is RUSTIC - just the way we like it. If you aren't into rustic camping, don't camp here. At night it is so quiet and dark it might spook a few people, but it gives you the feeling of what it must have been like a long time ago. Again, this is RUSTIC so don't complain there isn't any electricity or showers. Go to a different state park campground if you need those things.
Love this place. Great views. Be sure to check out the lighthouse museum and go up the tower.
Love the ride to the point of Leelenau State Park. Very nice and clean park. Personnel we're very nice. Beautiful view of lake Michigan. There is a light house you can visit and a small gift shop. Will definitely visit again! My husband found our very first downriver rock there!

Campsite is decent all the staff were helpful and nice. Sites are good size all the ones right on the lake are pretty close to each other. I would pick up firewood at a local seller vs from the park as all 10 bundles i got were still wet. Bathrooms are all pits but reasonably clean. Pretty good fishing at kehl lake a short drive from the park. Crystal clear rocky beach that you can wade out pretty far on that you can walk to from the lighthouse at the state park
